Schedule:July 17 through August 29

While this group show focuses on artists' relationship with the neighborhood around them — specifically, the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area — its venue sounds like something special in itself. What was originally a storage shed in the courtyard of a brownstone in the Williamsburg's Latino neighborhood is now Holland Tunnel Gallery, which opens into the street and offers views of the Williamsburg Bridge, the Domino's Sugar factory and neighboring houses. "Moving Into Outside," which includes representatives from the area's Polish, Latino and Hasidic communities, is the fourth show of local artists and their immediate environs organized by curator Marni Kotak; exhibitors include Danica Phelps, Jennifer Ditacchio, Patrick Killoran, Vincent Chani, Karl Frederick Haendel, Phyllis Yampolsky, Lisa Greagh, Heather Cassils, Jake Klotz and others.
