a Bio about me...............
I grew up in the most enchanted town of Provincetown at the very tip of Old Cape Cod. Even thought I have fallen in love with New York, Provincetown will always be my home. I am one of those people who just never stopped drawing and painting as a kid. When my mother told me at the age of about 6, what it meant to be a professional artist I decided then and there, that I wanted to be one.
"You mean you get to play and paint and that is your job?" I asked.
"Well yes, but it is really hard work." she replied.
"Yeah, yeah. Sure." I said."That is what I want to do."
Ever since then it has been my life's path (except for a brief period in High School when I thought that I would make a really good criminal lawyer). It turns out that my Mom was right about all the hard work, but I wouldn't have it any other way because it has been so rewarding.
For me painting is a journey that brings me to new and unexpected places.
I am always curious to discover where it will lead me next.
